  • Verify Camera connections and power

Next, we should check the monitor and camera connection by verifying cables are securely connecting to both ends or paired properly.

  • Discover and ping the CCTV camera

  • Reboot Camera

  • Upgrade firmware

Once we downloaded the firmware file, we need to load the file on a USB drive & insert it into the CCTV camera’s correct port. Then, there is a menu option to upgrade the firmware. Once the upgrading is finish, we should reboot our devices.

  • Factory reset CCTV camera

If the camera is not properly working, we might have needed to reset it to factory settings. For this, we need to access the camera menu & navigate to the option of factory reset. This will erase all the current settings of the camera and restore its default settings.
